Action Mime

You’ve always wondered how it is possible to give the feeling of a good fight, an epic chase or a slow-mo gravity-free earth saving mission? This workshop is made for you!

During this workshop we will learn how to create epic situations and give them to an audience, how to make any situation feel like part of an action movie, and how staging and techniques are important in impro to re-create these on the spot. Based on a strong non-verbal work and techniques used in the international shows The Fraltonsand Object of Affection, it will help you improve the use of your body on stage.

Give your character some good action and become “The Greatest Hero of them all”!

The format: Sin City

A dark alley, a rainy night, a smokey car and a lonely inspector will bring us to the adventures of this town, where every corner hosts a fight, a chase or a crime. Under the direction, narration and musics of Gael, this show puts on stage the skills and scenework practiced during the workshop, giving the audience a delightful patchwork of stories.

A workshop of helpful miming tips and exercises for every action possible! I felt challenged in the workshop and at ease on the stage. More than anything, I was reminded of the excitement miming can give and can’t wait to wield it on stage again!
